The farmhouse is reached via a 500 meter long track direct from the road which leads up to Comares from Benamargosa. From this location there are great views across the Axarquia region towards the Meditteranean. Comares is some fifteen minutes drive away and has various bars, restaurants and small shops, as well as a summer opening municipal swimming pool and a health centre. Benamargosa can be reached in a fifteen minute drive, and the larger, busier towns of Velez-Málaga and Torre del Mar on the Costa del Sol are about a half hour drive.
The farmhouse is part of an old Cortijo with a total of three separate dwellings. There is a shaded veranda in front of the house and a large flat area of land. You enter directly into the sitting room which has a fireplace and open plan kitchen to one side. Via a corridor you reach the three bedrooms and the shower room. There is access off the corridor to a small patio, which in turn leads up to a roof terrace from which you can see across the whole neighbourhood. To the right of the farmhouse there is an old stable which could be incorporated into the house.
The farmhouse is ready to move into, although it would benefit from some small improvements and decoration. There is sufficient land available to make a nice garden, and a pool could be constructed if wished (subject to the relevant planning permit). Mains electricity and water are connected.
